There has been some pretty interesting lamp designs in the past that require some sort of user interaction to activate, such as snapping your fingers, clapping your hands, or even blowing at it. And now, here’s the Pupa Lamp from Progetto25zero1 (Milan-based design studio) that requires loving caress to turn it on!
The Pupa Lamp is custom made from fibreglass, a couple of 15-watt fluoroscent bulb and no regular on/off switch but a fur switch instead.

Would like to have the sun in a jar? You think it’s impossible? No, it’s not!
There’s a cool gadget out there called Sun Jar. It has a solar panel in the lid of the jar, connected to some rechargeable batteries inside the jar. When you put it on your window sill or garden or anywhere exposed to sunlight, it will absorb those rays.
As the sun goes down, the Sun Jar starts to glow like magic, as if you have the sun in a jar! Measuring at 16cm tall and 10cm, the Sun Jar can give you 5 hours of glow from a full day in the sun.

Elica Lamp is an extraordinary table lamp that turns on and off by blowing.
Who buys Elica Lamp lives a direct relationship with light, by getting rid of the classical switch.
Another quality of Elica: It respects the environment, because it is design using lead free circuitry and with parts that can be easily disassembled.
Yes, it’s unique, it’s cute, but it costs you 150 Euro (about $190), which might just blow the budget!
