Dr. Hryhory Chausovsky, an Ukrainian scientist, has invented a 15-cm plate that is weight sensitive. If you overload the plate with food, a palm sized computer attached to the plate is activated and audio alerts are triggered.
As your personal weight-watcher, it will say things like, “Stop right there! And what about excess weight?” and “Where’s your willpower?” So, better follow the rules if you don’t wanna embarrass yourself in front of the public.

There has been some pretty interesting lamp designs in the past that require some sort of user interaction to activate, such as snapping your fingers, clapping your hands, or even blowing at it. And now, here’s the Pupa Lamp from Progetto25zero1 (Milan-based design studio) that requires loving caress to turn it on!
The Pupa Lamp is custom made from fibreglass, a couple of 15-watt fluoroscent bulb and no regular on/off switch but a fur switch instead.

Here’s a project by Alex Habegger, Ramun Liesch, Peter Ulrich and Nicholas Buchi - an Interactive Pillow. The pillow will turn on the lights inside when it senses low-light situations. It also reacts to sound, pressure and touch!
