Amanda Peet (34) married her fiance, David Benioff (36) on Saturday, in New York City.

Amanda is an actress and also the star of the new NBC series Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and David Benioff is a screenwriter.

The actress announced her wedding plans on CBS’ Late Show with David Letterman on Wednesday and claimed that she was in her forth month of pregnancy. They have been engaged since July 2005.

Amanda Peet and David Benioff were married at her alma mater, Friends Seminary, a Quaker school founded in 1786.

The 18-year-old singer, Aaron Carter is engaged to Playboy Playmate Kari Ann Peninche. The proposal happened on Saturday in Las Vegas, while both of them are onstage in front of 200 people during a performance of the Playboy Hollywood Comedy Tour, held at the Palms Casino Resort.

Peninche was very excited and said, “Aaron is the most genuine person I know. He’s kind, loving, and I love him so much.”

The couple plan to wed in sometime in the next six month. Kari Ann Peninche, who previously dated to Nick Carter (Aaron’s brother), was crowned Miss United States Teen 2003 but was stripped of the title after posing nude for Playboy.

Aaron Carter is set to make a reality TV show with his siblings, titled House of Carters, that premieres Oct 2nd on E! Entertainment Television.

Mickey Hargitay, father of Emmy-winning actress Mariska Hargitay and ex-husband of Hollywood bombshell Jayne Mansfield, has died Thursday, at the age of 80 in Los Angeles. The cause of death was not released.

Mickey Hargitay was born in Hungary in 1926, emigrated to the US after World War II. He became interested in bodybuilding and was named Mr. Universe, Mr. America and Mr. Olympia in 1955. He appeared opposite Mansfield in the film titled “The Loves of Hercules” in 1960, after marrying Mansfield in 1958. The couple had three children during their six-year marriage.
