Powermat wireless charger consists of a plug in charging mat plus a receiver sleeve, enabling your gadget to lock onto the mat and start charging without the hassle of messy cables all over the places.

There are two types of Powermat wireless charging mat available – Home and Office and Portable; plus receiver cases for Nintendo DS, Apple iPhone 3G and iPod Touch, also receiver dock for iPod Nano and Classic. Other products by Powermat are Blackberry battery doors and Powercube universal receiver.

Powermat claims that the wireless charger will charge as fast or even faster than normal conventional chargers. Available at Target and Best Buys for $99.99 (recharging mat) and $29.99 – $39.99 (receivers and docks).
