Sony has introduced the VAIO C series laptop, a series that comes in five hip colors - spring green, blush pink, seashell white, urban gray and espresso black. The notebook is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo 1.66GHz processors and comes with Windows Vista Premium ready.

Features of the Sony VAIO C series include:

• 13.3-inch WXGA (1280 x 800) display
• energy-saving XBRITE-ECO LCD technology
• onboard DVD+/-R Double Layer/DVD+/-RW/-RAM drive
• 802.11a/b/g wireless LAN
• Memory Stick Duo
• Memory Stick Pro or Express Card media slots
• i.LINK (IEEE 802.11)
• 100GB to 120GB hard drive
• 1GB DDRs-533 SDRAM
• USB ports

The espresso black and urban gray Sony VAIO C series will come out first at the end of October this year, while the other colors will be available later in November. Suggested retail price will be about $1,350.
