Children Machine 1 (CM1) – the Children’s Computer

One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) project spreadheaded by MIT has developed its first children’s computer called the Children Machine 1 (CM1). The CM1 features a 8-inch LCD screen with resolution of 1200×900, 128MB of RAM, 512MB of flash memory, 400MHz AMD Geode Processor, SD card slot, microphone and speaker jacks and digital camera.
As the goal is One Laptop Per Child, the Children Machine 1 is priced at $140 only.
