GlucoPhone – the Glucose Meter Cellphone for Diabetics

HealthPia America has developed a cellphone with glucose meter built-in. The GlucoPhone helps you manage your diabetes by:
- Providing various information and contents on diabetes
- Measuring blood sugar level and setting your target level
- Retrieving test result, record it at data center and send it to guardian
- Managing your meal plan by calculating calories taken
- Providing more precise analysis and management performed based on patients’ data stored at HealthPia data center
The system uses custom software along with an LG UX5000, VX5200, or LX350 and a Glucopack.
No word on pricing and availability yet. Also it’s not stated on the website whether the GlucoPhone has been approved by FDA.
