Verizon Wireless LG VX8500 Chocolate PhoneVerizon Wireless, as the first US carrier to get a handset from LG’s Chocolate line, has announced the LG VX8500 Chocolate phone.

The hot fashion phone from LG features:

  • QVGA 262K color screen
  • EV-DO 3G data
  • touch-sensitive and hidden (when not lit) front buttons
  • 1.3 megapixel camera
  • flash, and video clip capture and playback capabilities
  • Bluetooth (DUN and stereo audio are both supported, but not full OBEX)
  • V Cast Music download store/player, MP3 playback supported. Exterior music control keys.
  • microSD card slot for memory expansion
  • Size: 3.8 × 1.88 × 0.69 inches


The Verizon Wireless LG VX8500 Chocolate phone sells for $149.99 (2-year service agreement) and $249.99 (1-year service agreement).
