Actually the Egg Whiskey Timer is just an ordinary sand timer but added an outer case so that it looks cute and adorable. The Egg Whiskey sand timer holds three minutes worth of sand. When all the sand runs out, just flip it over to start another countdown.
The only downside of this sand timer is that you have to keep your eye on the time because it has no numeral display or buzzer to remind you about the time. This cute little timer only costs $2.99 at Bed Bath & Beyond.
