Ovu – the Wearable Fertility Tracker

Ovu is a wearable thermometer in tracking fertility. It’s designed by Katie Bauer in a form of lace armband with a thermistor attached on the inside that allows the Basal Body Temperature (BBT) of a woman to be trackable in a stylish way.
Then, how does it work? A woman wears the Ovü on her arm. The thermometer constantly takes in temperature in the underarm and tracks the changes. When the change is significant enough to imply a hormonal change (usually because of ovulation), the device triggers a melody to play.
