Sony NW-A (002, 003, 005) to Debut Soon

Sony is going to annouce new flash player, the NW-A 002 (512MB), 003 (1GB) and 005 (2GB) to replace the existing E100/E300 series (it will not replace the NW-A3000, nor NW-A1000). The NW-A price will be below the Apple iPod Nano in the related sizes in order to attract most consumers.

Korean Daewoo Lucoms UMPC Device

The Origami craze is everywhere nowadays. You may have noticed that Origami /UMPC (Ultra Mobile Personal Computer) news is everywhere. And here comes again a UMPC device from Korean company, Daewoo, named Lucoms. Daewoo Lucoms’ model is in fact based on a product from Founder. So just like the Samsung Origami, you get a 7-inch screen, 30 to 60GB of HDD, 512MB of RAM and a Pentium M900.

Olympus Voice-Trek V-11 WMA Voice Recorder

Olympus unveiled the Voice-Trek V-11 voice recorder that has 64MB of internal memory and offers between 4 hours 20 minutes and 27 hours of recording time, depending on the compression rate.

It has built-in monaural microphone to allow voice recording in WMA type. The device is powered by a single AAA battery and battery is detachable to turn it to a USB key function (look at the right picture).

Lyra X3000 Personal Multimedia Recorder

Thomson introduced LYRA X3000 PMP featuring a 3.6-inch 320×240 screen, 20GB HDD, and forthcoming DirecTV 2 Go support. The Personal Media Recorder does the time-shift feature with real-time MPEG4 recording from any analog video source (they include a docking base to make it easier to record stuff), and can offload video from a DirecTV at 10x speed once DirecTV rolls out the functionality. Constant video playback is can last up to four. It includes a universal IR remote control for those times when handheld is too close. The unit weighs eight ounces and is 0.75-inches thick.

Mock-Floppy Brush

It’s weird, but actually a great idea to turn a damage floppy disks into brushes. This cute little anti-static nylon keyboard brush springs out of a 3-1/2 x 3-5/8 x 1/4 inch thick floppy-disk-styled plastic case. The brush itself has a 2-1/2 inch long row of narrow bristles. Its super-thin shape allows you to bring it wherever you like.
