I posted about Loc8tor several days ago. Loc8tor works with tags to let you find your lost items a range of 500 feet and also prevents things from getting lost in the first place.

Like Loc8tor, the iSpot is also a wireless gadget to locate your lost item. Just attach a receiver or locator tag to one of your belongings, whether it is your iPod, cellphone, dog, purse or any other things. Then, if you can’t find it anywhere and start looking for them, press the corresponding button on remote control and locator tag will beep to tell you where it resides. The beep sound is different for each color of locator tag.
