Christmas Trend: Upside-Down Christmas Tree
November 21st, 2005
Maybe the upside-down christmas tree is the hottest thing this year. Retailers have to increase the order amount from last year, yet some have all of them sold out! Check out the report from USA Today:
Hammacher Schlemmer can’t even keep its $599.95 pre-lit model in stock. It’s already sold out.
“We increased the amount we ordered from last year, but ended up selling all of them already,” says Joe Jamrosz of Hammacher Schlemmer.
Not to be left behind, Target has three such upside-down trees ($299.99-$499.99) on its website, touting their best attribute: “Leaves more room on the floor for gifts!”.
Hanging christmas tree upside-down is a tradition in Central Europe as a symbol of faith.
By the way, I think that upside-down christmas tree will be a perfect decoration for the defying-gravity room. What do you think?
