Japan is absolutely the heaven of vending machine. You will find vending machines every where you go and they vend almost anything: soft drink, cigarette, candy, toys, and even rice, eggs, fish, vegetables, toilet paper, magazine, condoms, pornography, video games, flowers and disposable cameras!

Here you can see rice vending machine that ranges from US$25-$40 for a 10kg bag.

Well, I stumbled across this ‘Happy Birthday’ license topic today on jefflundberg.com/blog. This is not a blog I used to stalk, but will be the one.

Apparently singing ‘Happy Birthday’ song or any copyrighted songs publicly is copyright infridgement because it is copyrighted and is currently owned by Time Warner and brings more than $2 million in annual royalties!

But you still can ask for the license to sing this song from ASCAP and the address is as follows:
